SVR service trains were hauled today by 5164, 7802, 7812 [pic above] and D8188. A special dining train was hauled by 46443 and 4566. D3022 was carriage pilot at Kidderminster.

SVR service trains were hauled today by 4566, 42968, 6201 [above at Kidderminster] and 6024. 46443 was on footplate experience duties, 5764 was on a Saloon special and 45110 was in steam at Bridgnorth [the picture of 48773 is not what it may seem, the smoke was provided by 45110 behind!] D3022 was station pilot at Kidderminster Town.

The SVR diesel diagrams were covered by 37901 and 37906, the special dining charter was hauled by 7812 and the footplate experience trains were in the hands of 46443. 4566 and 5164 hauled the remaining service trains. 12099 was shunting at Kidderminster where 50049 was also active.

Running a 45 minute timetable, the SVR used 4566, 5764, 7802, 42968 and diesel 37906 on scheduled services. D3022 was carriage shunter at Kidderminster. 48773, still in store at Bridgnorth, has been moved to a different location in the shed yard.

On the first day of 'Members and Shareholders' weekend the railway hosted a railtour hauled by A4 No 60019 'Bittern' [seen at Hampton Loade above] and Class 67 No 67003. Hauling service trains were 4566, 45110, 5164, 7812 and the Class 108 5-car dmu and Class 37 No 37906. 12099 was shunting at Kidderminster. Out of traffic 48773 was being cleaned at Bridgnorth.

Working trains on the Severn Valley Railway today were 4566, 5164, 7812, 42968 and 45110. 12099 and D3937 were working at Kidderminster.

The Severn Valley Railway has re-opened throughout from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. The crowded first train, the 0955 from Kidderminster Town to Bridgnorth, was hauled by 45110 bearing the 'Re-opening Train' headboard. The first southbound train was hauled by newly-restored 7812 'Erlestoke Manor'. Other locomotives in traffic were 4566, 5164 and visiting SDJR 2-8-0 No 88 [seen above departing Hampton Loade for Bridgnorth]. 42968 was also in steam at Bewdley.
